Ross Quality Control Ltd has been involved in the Irvine Housing Association’s development in Lamlash, Isle of Arran, since October 2012, providing Clerk of Works services to the Client. The development consists of 56 new build timber-frame properties. My task in this project is to carry out quality control inspections of works completed by the various trades, including joinery work by Riverside Contracts Ayrshire Ltd. This company have been responsible for all aspects of joinery on the development, from door & window installation first and second fix joinery work through to the fitting of kitchen units. They have, undoubtedly, delivered a quality service in terms of both workmanship and in keeping with the project timetable.
As a result of these inspections, I have been able to provide assurance to the Client (I.H.A.) of my complete satisfaction with the high standards achieved by Riverside. They have proved to be a well-managed team, led by competent and approachable Supervisors.
I would not hesitate to recommend the company for any future developments of this nature.
